It turns out that Amber, the woman on the left, knows one of our friends (Sylvia). Amber and Sylvia used to work together in San Francisco. Amber was traveling around Turkey for a month and liked it so much that she decided to extend her stay until the end of the summer, and possibly even longer beyond that.
